Hola!
Como estas?
Ok before I jump in with my Barcelona trip I'm going to talk about the flight, because fuck me that was a long haul!
I had a total of three flights and spent roughly 23 hours all up on a plane. That Melbourne to Dohar slog was a killer! 14.5 hours.
FOURTEEN AND A HALF HOURS!!!
And I was sat in the middle of two people who's shoulders were bigger than mine. And I'm really cut because I left my beloved Doggies hat on the flight 😭. I totally forgot I boarded wearing it and by the time I remembered I was halfway to my next flight.
Oh and I'll just say I love the train system here in Barcelona. I made my way from the airport to the guesthouse (located outside the city) with no dramas at all. It's so easy and the trains and stations are so clean (looking at you Perth!). And it was so early in the morning that I arrived that very few people were out and about which meant no one got to witness how fucking rank I smelt after a day of flying.
I was sitting on the train and uncrossed my legs, got a good waft of sweaty vag so I crossed my legs on the otherside. I tried to make it seem like that was always the plan and not that the sheer act of uncrossing my legs almost knocked me off my seat.
Long flights can be brutal!
Not to mention my lower back was tight as a drum and my arse cheeks felt like they had been tenderised.
Getting off the plane like 👆🏾
Anyways, enough about that!
Barcelona is a beautiful city. The street I'm staying on is gorgeous (and quiet, thank god). They are lined with orange trees and again the streets are clean (aside from the odd fag butt here and there).

I did a walking tour yesterday and got to see the Sagrada Familia as well as a couple other Gaudi buildings and the Old Quarter (ie. Roman or Gothic Quarter).

I'm not passionate about architecture at all but I fucking love Gaudi's style! He built a house that looks like a mermaid! Fucking Legend!

And the Sagrada Familia is just incredible. I didn't go in because the crowds of people... ugh people... but from the outside it's a feast!
From one angle it looks like a gothic/evil fairytale castle, from another it looks like a giant art exhibit dedicated to Jesus's last days. There are fruits (at least that's what I'm calling them) sitting up top the turrets.
And the sheer size. Well the first time I saw it my jaw actually dropped because I thought I wandered into The Dark Crystal by accident.
So yes. Barcelona is beautiful. And luckily I didn't get pick pocketed. Kinda hard to do when I'm wearing my bag on my front and under my poncho (I don't trust no one!).

Oh and if you do come to Barcelona be wary of the ladies with white faces. I'm not talking about white women although... nah jokes. I'm talking about women with painted white faces like geisha. Apparently they distract you while their friends help themselves to your purse.
Gonna sign off here now. Still struggling with the jet lag was up at 3am and imagine I'll be crashing again soon. Plus I got to catch a train to Valencia and shelled out for a first class ticket 💅
Adios!

Looks so beautiful xxx
