I feel like there is so much to share that I don't even know where to begin.
So bare with - or is it bear with??
I didn't want to leave Bath but I did and I hopped on a train to Swansea in Wales. It's on the southern coast and it is fucking beautiful. Wales is a beautiful country!

I chose Swansea because of all the hikes it offered. I am finally over my travel fatigue and ready to start fucking my feet up all over again 😜

Actually the sandals I got on the Camino are great and apart from one blister I didn't suffer on my 19km coastal walk.

Swansea itself was a rather small place and not too touristy, but there are some rough looking characters for sure. Was definitely picking up some Northbridge vibes.
And god help me I was staying in a hostel. I swore never again but there was literally no other option (I refuse to stay in self service apartments after the Brighton fiasco).
So instead I was stuck in a 12 bed mixed dorm with 11 blokes. ELEVEN YOUNG RUGBY PLAYING MEN!!!
I am not going to get into it all because I don't have enough hours left in the day. But they were fucking feral!
What the actual fuck is that clawing, sticky smell that hits you full in the back of the throat like a road train??
And why do they chuck their shit everywhere?? I could barely see the floor.
And please god why leave gross sweaty jocks in the bathroom? And one foul cunt actually vomited on the floor of the dorm and left it there, it was that clear watery vomit but still 🤢. It was the same gross prick who took the sheet off the bed and slept in his jocks straight on the mattress in the middle of a very hot weekend after playing rugby all day!
FUCKING FERALS!!!!
And they've put me right off men, I'm going full lesbian now!
To all the young men out there this is a very important message:
If you ever want a woman to touch your dick you need to shower and use soap and deodorant! Clean up after yourself, no woman wants to be your mum! And don't leave food lying around in the sun for fuck sake! Also, don't stare at women.
Only two men in that dorm actually spoke to me, the rest just stared like I was an alien.
And I'm not even going to get into the safety of the situation because it took all my effort trying to explain it to the hostel.
Don't put a woman in a room full of men! It is not safe!! I did not feel comfortable. I fell asleep thinking about what I could possibly do if one or more of those men touched me or climbed into my bed at night. My comfort level (not counting the feralness or the smell) was sitting at sweet fuck all!
And I was super fucked off learning when I was checking out that I had been lied to. They said they had no other beds available for me, and turns out there was a private room not being used! I would've paid for that ya big simple bastards!!!
So yeah, to reiterate. I am now full lesbian and am never staying in a hostel again, I'd rather sleep on the street where I don't have to pay to be attacked or sexually assaulted, I can get that for free.
But besides that the hiking was gorgeous.
And now I am in Llandudno, I will add a video on how to pronounce that at the end (because it's a doozy).
Also Llandudno is like Scarborough now, Swansea is like Scarborough 20 years ago. Llandudno is a little bit bougie and very touristy but I like it.
In fact I love it here. So much so I extended my stay for a few more days.

It is on the north coast of Wales. It is where Lewis Carroll wrote Alice In Wonderland. It is home to The Great Orme (Orm). And Snowdonia National Park is very close by.

I visited the Stone Age copper mine in the middle of the Great Orme, and amazingly my claustrophobia didn't get the best of
me. I was able to walk all the way through the tunnel without freaking out! Pretty proud of myself.

It was here I also met a young man studying geology who told me he wanted to go to Australia, Perth specifically, and work as an exploration geologist. Guess how gobsmacked he was when I introduced myself! I gave him my full name and the companies I have worked for and who knows, maybe it'll help him out when he gets to Perth. I hope so! He was a nice young man. Not feral at all!
Oh and that night I went and saw The Bodyguard Musical and I nearly wet myself. I love the movie. It's definitely a guilty pleasure for me.
I mean, a beautiful, successful black woman is being protected by Kevin Costner who fall in love with her... it's only my dream come true!
The musical was so much fun, and it included all of Whitney's hits. That was a nice touch.
Yesterday I hopped on a tour that visited a few villages and Eryri National Park (formally Snowdonia) and that was wonderful!
I saw a Victorian house that has been restored so it's exactly how it was back then. That was pretty cool. I got shat on by a seagull protecting its young. That was less cool. Kinda a little bit cool though because this seagull came out of nowhere and divebombed like a WW2 plane. I jumped out of the way but it still got me on the shoulder! I gotta respect that. Didn't think seagulls were so tactfull.
I saw Britain's smallest house.

Apparently the last occupant was a 6'3" man who had to share 1 dunny with the rest of the street. I'm sorry but after the hostel in Swansea I'd rather sew my arsehole shut!

Next stop is Liverpool, home of The Beatles.
Then Scotland!!
So yeah, put Wales on your travel list. There's something special about this place 🙌🏾
Oh and Welsh is the oldest language in Britain and the second oldest in Europe! Did not know that!
Awesome pics, love your pronunciation xxx
