Big Rant Ahead

So for Brighton I booked an apartment and I was going to do some cooking for myself (something I do enjoy and miss while travelling). But of course that didn't pan out for me.

I started to get worried when I was in London before I even checked in. That was the issue, I had to check-in via a link they sent but the link was invalid, it looked something like xxxx/xxxxxx/.xxx.xxxx.//xxxx and I explained it 10 fucking times and sent them an email asking them to put the link in a reply email, and everytime they just resent the link via Agoda. I even tried the link and porn came up!

So I contacted Agoda customer service and they sent the correct link. Annoyingly I also had to pay a £149 holding fee.

Turns out I had every right to be. When I finally got checked in I found a tiny piss poor apartment with the wifi routers and cables tossed on the floor... ok... I untangle and put them both on and nothing! So I go down to the local pub to use the wifi because I am travelling without buying local sim cards, I did this in Asia too so I'm a pro by now, and I let the property owner know. Then I walked back and decide I'll take a shower... there is no hot water! I need hot water in the UK I don't care how fucking hot the day gets, the cold water is bloody arctic! Also found out the hard way the toilet doesn't flush!

So I walk back to the pub and tell the poxy fucking owners the problems and that I am not staying in a place with no hot water or flushing toilet. They apologise and tell me they'll get it fixed. I tell them I want a full refund and spend ages looking for another place and returned the keys. I found a very reasonably priced hotel and I actually enjoyed my time in Brighton.

I never heard back from the poxy owners but I figured it was the weekend and I didn't want to deal with them!

Cut to the other day and I get a partial refund pop up in my bank, I paid $500 odd Aussie dollers and they gave me $69 back. They didn't even give me my holding fee back!

Fuck off!

I look on Agoda and it told me I only cancelled my booking on the 11th when I cancelled on the 8th! I contact Agoda and they investigate and tell me the property said I was a no show!

Then after I tell them (a number of times) the situation they went back to the property and apparently they offered to set me up in another apartment and pay for the transport themselves but I declined the offer.

The cunts never made me any offer! The last I heard from them was they'll get the problems fixed and they were sorry.

So I explained that to Agoda and the issue is still pending. The property has not responded to any of my attempts to contact them and apparently they're not responding to Agoda too. But Agoda told me I should get an answer in a few days, but it does seem to me the property has final say over if I get one or not!

FUCK SAKE!!!!

After the shit show that was GVI I thought I'd had my fill of cunts ripping me off! I think that brings my total up to roughly $17,000.

So angry and not impressed!

Really hope GVI and Brighton Hospital Studio Apartment rot in hell. I hope the traffic lights always turn red as they're approaching, I hope they're showers are always only tepid and I hope they get ingrown hairs on their rings!!!
