Thanardu ngajubintharri!
I am back in Australia and feeling heaps better.
Unfortunately the diving videos are not great because the camera with the waterproof cover is shite. None of the videos or photos do it justice.
So here are the highlights of the trip.
*the beautiful sea turtle chilling out in the reef (~5m deep)
*the large octopus curled up inside a crevice (~8m deep)
*finding a huge pufferfish hiding among the coral (~15m deep). It was almost the size of Radley and it was just chilling and smiling at me before it swam off

*all of the reef sharks from surface (snorkeling) to 20m deep
*the beautiful Spanish Dancer swimming over the abyss (+30m deep)

*the nudibranch chilling on a lone piece of coral during my second open water dive
*the pod of dolphins that would swim with the boat after our dives
*the perfect glass-like water that graced us on my last week of diving.
I loved every second in the ocean whether it was snorkeling or diving (diving is more betterer) and I can't wait to do more diving!
So I do have news.
This week I resigned from my job. That's right, I am now unemployed and I am loving it. Don't get me wrong, I'm low key shitting myself because I've never not worked before and this is very not normal for me. But I am also feeling so free, not only from having a job but free from the expectations of how I should live life.
I spent about a week trying to figure out where I wanted to go next and a million and one things popped up. It was pretty overwhelming and even caused a couple restless nights. But the other day I listed all the things I was interested in doing and I started booking.
So here's my next lot of travel plans - backpacking around Europe!
But not just backpacking (because I am a jaded mid thirties woman now and fuck that!).
I am going learn how to horse ride in Spain.
Walk the Camino de Santiago in Portugal.
Diving in the Mediterranean sea.
More horse riding in Greece.
A circus aerial retreat in a castle in southern France (my stepdad thinks I'm going to become a carni).
That's all I got planned for now.
Watch this space!
👆🏾 this was at 30m deep. Wall of reef to the left and nothing but blue to the right and below. Was incredible!

Spot the reef shark and you win! Honest he was way closer than he looks in the camera

The dive video and pics are awesome. Love the sound of your future plans :)

I'm going to be in Europe in May - reach out once you are back in town and I will share my travel plans with you, maybe we can meet up somewhere cool.
Glad that you are happier and focusing on what will make you happy into the future, life is so short and no one has time for regrets about what you could be doing.
