Day 3 - Radley Crossed The Nullarbor

How to start this post?

Hmm...

OK so, I'm sorry but today was a bit underwhelming.

We crossed the Nullarbor and honestly it was just like any other road! Didn't know when it started or ended and it was just like any other road I've driven except that for some reason it's meant to be iconic?? Like why?!?!

And while I'm at it, what is it with the rest stops not having toilets (not even a long drop) OR bins?! Like what is the point? People just leave their shit lying around, literally!!

And the distance signs are just weird!

ROUND NUMBERS PEOPLE!

The distance to the next stop should be in round numbers - 90kms, 80kms, 70kms...

NOT some weird arse odd numbers - 49kms, 44kms, 39kms, 34kms...

I can't do that calculation in my head!

And we didn't see the Bight, the only place we saw for the Bight had an $18 admission fee and dogs weren't allowed, so yeah nah, we left.

So all in all, SA is not really blowing my skirt up.

But I will say this. The place is pretty and green. And the ocean is gorgeous! The ocean is my happy place so when we pulled in to Ceduna we went for a walk to the foreshore and along the jetty and I was happy.

Plus it was only a 5 hour day today. Very happy about that ☺️
