Thanarru!
I am having a cracker time in Glasgow! It's a very pretty city, if not a little rough, and the sun came out yesterday, YAY ☀️🙌🏾

Now I haven't really been loving the food in the UK, but then it's not known for its cuisine (much like Australia). However, I have really been liking the food in Scotland.

I had haggis with taters and neeps (potatoes and turnips) and whisky sauce. Sweet Jesus it was good 🤤
I also tried a deep fried Mars Bar. It was very OK. And apparently it's not something the locals eat. They do eat deep fried pizza though...
And today while walking the Botanic Gardens I had Stornoway black pudding with brown sauce in a white bun. Very simple and very yummy!

Last night a local Glaswegian man took me out to try some whisky. He asked me if I liked smokey, smooth or salty... well, I had to try salty! And I liked it. Wish I could remember the name of it 🤔
He was very sweet too and though I didn't completely understand everything he said I enjoyed listening to his Glasgow accent very much.
Yeah, I'm liking Scotland 😂

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and I walked along the Clyde to the Science Centre where I visited the planeterium and got so dizzy I was walking like a drunk back to my hotel.
I also got to see the most famous statue in Glasgow. I heard the council have completely given up removing the cone because it costs ~£5000 every time, so it's just a permanent fixture now.

Tomorrow I go to Edinburgh and it's supposed to be a beautiful city, Glasgow is supposed to be a shithole... Since I think Glasgow is beautiful I'm expecting Edinburgh to knock my socks off!

Glad you managed some Stornoway black. Absolute delish 🙌🏻
Looks so beautiful, gotta love that accent. love you heaps xxx
