Happy Horsies And Lisbon

Ola!

I am in Lisbon and about to get on a train to Porto where I'll be starting my pilgrimage.

But first I want to talk about my horse riding retreat in Spain.

It was not what I was expecting, I got way more than I bargained for!

I thought I'd just be learning to ride horses and do yoga but nope, we did a lot of inner work stuff as well.

I got my birth chart done, turned out to be pretty accurate. And it also helped shift the thinking that some of the things I thought of as negative qualities can be positives. I just need to shift the thinking.

The biggest thing I took away though is the power of the words I Am and the importance of the words following.

For instance,

I am determined rather than I am stubborn.

Anyways, I had a brilliant time at the retreat! I was also the only one there so I got a whole villa to myself! After a week of hostels that was perfect.

I also got to eat really yummy fresh home made food!

And I got to ride a beautiful horse called Pinky. He was a lot like Radley in that he was very preoccupied with food! And a lot like me in that he was very wary of possible dangers in this world.

After my retreat I left Spain and am now in Portugal. I only spent the one night here in Lisbon and I think that's enough. I did a walking tour and made some friends who I then went out to dinner with.

Lisbon is very pretty!

The streets are mosaic tiles and beautiful and so clean. Also very easy to navigate. It's a lot hotter here than it was in Spain though.

And I don't think I'd ever heard the language before but it is so different than spanish! So my piss poor spanish isn't worth much here, and probably for the best because there is definitely a little brother jealous vibe I'm picking up.

Not sure how much I'm going to be able to post while on the pilgrimage but I'll try.

So excited! And a little nervous. I'll be spending a lot of time with myself. That's ok but. I like me, she's pretty cool. I mean she's taken me on this amazing adventure. Caitlin is a boss!
