Thanarru ngajubintharri!
I don't really have a lot to update you on. I spent a few nights in Liverpool and then went to Lancaster and am now in the Lake District.

I didn't do too much in either Liverpool or Lancaster in the way of sightseeing. But I have actually started dating again.
I know, I know I said I was full lesbian now and also said I was embracing the single life... but I was lonely and I actually forgot how fun dating can be! Probably because in Australia I rarely did have fun on dates. It's different here in the UK. Maybe because I'm not an "Abo" here. I'm an Aussie. And it's a really nice thing to be.

So yeah, in Liverpool I went on a couple of coffee/walking dates. I also ended up having beers with the singer at the pub I was staying in. He sang the best cover of Mamma Mia and Dancing Queen I have ever heard. He was a Scouse and he hated the Beatles, which I found funny. Actually he was very funny!
Oh by the way, sorry Mum! You were right, they were called Liverpuddlians but that went out of fashion in the 70s apparently.

During my other dates I have met a fair few interesting people!
I met a man who narrates audiobooks for Audible and his voice is quite devine. He also MCs boxing and MMA matches on the weekends!
I met a bloke who is a lighting technician on TV and movies, he was working on House Of The Dragon when we met.
I met a constable who worked in drug and theft in Lancaster who's one passion in life is music.
And I met a woodcarver who lives in a cabin off-grid who showed me the beauties of the Lake District, the Castlerigg stone circle (same age as Stonehenge), and took me to his property to show me his carvings and his trees (he's an avid tree planter) and I got to taste an alpine strawberry. He also taught me axe throwing and knife throwing with axes and knives he made himself.

I have also done a fair bit of hiking in the Lake District, and yesterday I visited a boat museum. That was awesome! And today I took a ferry across the Windermere lake and visited the aquarium.

I had really good weather in Wales but since getting back in England the weather has been drizzly and grey and fucking cold. I thought it was meant to be the middle of summer here. Feels like a Perth winter!

And tomorrow I head off to Scotland. I'm hoping to meet at least three buff, kilt wearing, ginger bearded Scotsmen 🤞🏾🤞🏾

Oh and I'm writing again. The writing bug has returned and bit me on the arse. It's been quite a few years....
