When The Road Is Over

You know, I really do like Melbourne. Not really sure why but there's just something about the place... not the roads though, yeah nah can do without these roads
This morning was nice because I was woken up by the dog needing to wee and not my alarm.
Was still early af but I could come back inside afterward and relax with a hot cup of coffee (it was shitty just add-hot-water instant coffee sachets but that still counts). Was able to stretch out over the couch and relax.
Speaking of stretching, I am so glad I stretched at every stop and every night in the hotel room.
My hip flexors get very tight and my lower back and arse cheeks were really feeling the strain, but stretching and my friend's massage gun really helped ease all that stuff and my body feels great considering.
And if anyone is thinking about getting a massage gun OMG do it! I'm getting one as soon as I get back from my travels.
It is literally my second favourite battery operated handheld device 😜😂
Anyways, once we were all caffinated and ready to face the cold we headed out to the Queen Victoria Markets. I think it's safe to say that with my very limited packed wardrobe, which has a few chocolate crumbs smudged into the fabric, and my backpack and baggy jumper, I was not really blending in with the chic Melbourne crowds
Bloody hell it was cold too! Tomorrow I'm putting my thermals on. That light breeze was really cutting through me.
But the sandwhiches we had for lunch were amazeballs and walking through the markets is always fun. I totally wanted a top hat but wasn't prepared to spend that much on them. Kinda regretting that decision now though because some of them were so cool! Plus it would match my octopus tattoo... sigh, next time I guess.
Didn't stay out too long though. Had to come back to let the dog out, and good thing too because he had a lot to deposit at the nearby park, also got to say hi to a couple other doggies, something he was missing while being stuck in the car.
Funny I somehow ended up with a really social pup, but I think I'd rather that than a dog more on my social skill level... wouldn't be fun having two bitches out for a walk 😂
I don't really know how to end these posts so bare with...
The road trip was pretty awesome. Yes it was exhausting and pretty hard at times but I got to see a part of the country I never would've seen otherwise. I also feel quite proud that my little boodgie-bomb made it to the otherside of the country! And I got to appreciate just how much I don't like SA, and how much I really enjoy being out in the open air. I love Melbourne but deep down I'm a bush girl and the hustle and bustle kinda takes a toll on me. Being out in bum-fuck nowhere actually recharges me, which I really needed because fuckwit drivers really take up a lot of energy!
So, I get to tick the Nullarbor off my bucket list ✅️

Just adding this video because it makes me giggle watching Radley walk down stairs 😂
Like you know,
