Made it!!!!

It's been 280kms, 15 days and umpteen blisters but I finally made it to Santiago de Compostela.
The walk was long and fucking painful! It was also amazing!

My plan was to leave my boots on the hillside just before Santiago (about 5kms out) but that didn't end up happening.

Instead I was walking through a beautiful wood when something told me this was the place to leave them. This would be their new home. It was so quiet and so green and just perfect. I set my boots down next to the marker and I simply walked off. There were no hesitations. I just walked away from them knowing this was right.
And then I walked another 15kms until my calves screamed and my feet were numb and I found myself at the mighty cathedral.

I expected tears but there were none. I just sat there and thought "I made it". After everything I still bloody made it!!
Then I got my compostela and I tell you it felt good to have that peice of paper in my hand!

Now I am going to sleep and I love the fact I don't have to set an alarm!

So awesome sweetheart very proud of you, enjoy xxx
